I got a package today. I was running low on teas and I ordered some from They have the best service. I’m not sure what day I ordered, maybe it was Sunday. But I got the thank you email, then the we’ve shipped your package email and today the we delivered your package email. Sure enough, there was a tidy little box, maybe an 8 inch cube sitting by the front door when I got home. The whole box smells good. I got mostly herbal teas, because I mostly drink tea in the evening and it has to be decaf or I’ll stay awake all night.

I like the names of the teas — in my herbal sampler I got berry blast, sour apple (I’m not sure about it’s fragrance. It smells like… sour apples), peppermint, chamomile (I’m not wild about chamomile, didn’t know I’d be getting it, I don’t think it was in the description), rooibos jasmine, and mango melange. I also got samplers of foxtrot (chamomile, rooibos, peppermint), bolero (a blend created by a customer of vanilla, almond & black tea), and valentines (chocolate, strawberries & black tea). The valentines is the one I’m most anxious to try, chocolate tea! I also got am 8 oz. tin of rooibos vanilla. I do like the rooibos (red tea), partly because one of my favorite fictional characters, Precious Ramotswe, the South African lady detective from Alexander McCall Smith’s The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series is always drinking it. It seems to help her solve crimes and more mundane problems.

Here’s my little tea cupboard and my hodgepodge of little teapots and new teas.
